Verdelen, vertrouwen en verantwoorden in het Engels
De Raad voor de financiële verhoudingen heeft een heroriëntatie uitgevoerd op het stelsel van de Nederlandse financiële verhoudingen. Dit heeft geresulteerd in de publicatie Verdelen, vertrouwen en verantwoorden. Hierin heeft de Raad het stelsel van de normatieve en wetenschappelijke grondslagen van de financiële verhoudingen beschreven en besteedt hij aandacht aan toekomstige ontwikkelingen.
De Raad heeft geconstateerd dat internationaal weinig kennis ontsloten is over de verschillende stelsels waarmee publieke middelen verdeeld worden, terwijl de behoefte daaraan groot is. Om die reden heeft de Raad zijn publicatie in het Engels vertaald en wordt deze internationaal verspreid.
'Distribution, trust and accountability'
Through 2011, the Financial Relations Council undertook a review of the financial relations between the layers of government in the Netherlands. This resulted in the publication of a report - Distribution, trust and accountability - that describes the normative and scientific foundations for financial relations in the Netherlands and explores recent developments that influence the system. In the spirit of knowledge sharing and cooperation the Council commissioned an English language translation of the report. The Council hopes that the translation will be of value to those outside of the Netherlands and meaningfully contribute to the growing body of knowledge on financial relations internationally.
